Tense look: Victoria Beckham appeared to be feeling the pressure as she sat watching David play for L.A. Galaxy yesterday
With a little girl on the way Victoria Beckham has plenty of reasons to sit back and relax – letting everyday stresses pass her by.
But as the wife of a footballer for more than a decade she can’t seem to tear herself from the beautiful game when David Beckham is on the pitch.
The fashion designer, 36, appeared to be on tenterhooks as she watched LA Galaxy play New England Revolution with her boys Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.
Victoria looked transfixed as she viewed from the private box watching what turned out to be a fairly nail-biting game for the home side.
Dressed in black and with a matching pashmina, Victoria was looking radiant with her hair loose and simple makeup - with smokey eyes and glossed lips on show.
But David struggled on the pitch as his crosses repeatedly failed to beat the first man.

While Victoria was looking transfixed by the game the boys enjoyed the perks of being the match VIPs and happily tucked into the LA branded confectionery which was available in the area.
While Victoria and Brooklyn, 11, kept warm staying inside the box eight-year-old Romeo, and five-year-old Cruz, were quick to make their way out onto the balcony and were seen waving frantically, perhaps trying to catch David’s attention to spur him on.
The home side managed ton David's mind at the moment.
Last week the footballer lodged an appeal to overturn a court’s decision to throw out his £15.5million libel claim against a U.S. magazine which printed sex allegations against him.
Last year In Touch published an article claiming Beckham paid a £2,000-a-night prostitute, Irma Nici, and a 'mystery brunette' for sex at New York's Le Parker Meridien Hotel in August 2007.
Beckham immediately began legal action but his plans to sue were thwarted last month when a judge threw the case out and the Daily Mail has learned that David will attempt to prove that Bauer acted maliciously in publishing the claims – having already accepted the claims are false.
Earlier this month Victoria and David revealed they were expecting a baby girl after they had given up hope of having a female addition to the family.
Doctors told them to prepare for another little boy at the three month scan but found that they are in fact expecting a little girl after having the second ultrasound scan.
David said: 'When you've had three boys you just kind of assume that you're going to have another one.

We're up here dad! Romeo and Cruz made their way out to balcony and waved to David down on the pitch
'Funnily enough, when we went to have the three-month scan they [the doctors] said, 'Oh, it looks like a boy.'
'We were, like, 'Oh, OK, great. Almost like a five-a-side team.'
'And then we went back and they were like, 'Actually, it's a girl.'
'The emotion hit us [then]. It's amazing.'
The couple have been invited to the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in Westminster Abbey on April 29 and David has revealed Victoria is a little apprehensive as she will be pregnant.
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest he said: 'We are very proud of our Royal family and to be invited to it, we are both excited.'
He added: ' Victoria is a little bit worried because she will be a few months pregnant by then.'
And Posh isn't the only former Spice Girl expecting to hear pitter patter of tiny feet soon Emma Bunton is also expecting and today it was revealed that Mel B is also pregnant.
